As part of a larger project on the Social Profile of the German Secret Service (BND) between 1945 and 1968, we worked with a representative sample of enlistment periods to build a model of the changing sociogeographic profile of the organization with regard to its active staff (Video 1) and newly recruited personnel (Video 2) .
